Youth Climate Change Forum update

Thanks everyone for coming down for YCCF last week! I’m sure all those who attended came away with new ideas from both the Minister and suggestions from members of the audience. Thank you especially to the managing committee of the project! Do go to our Facebook page here for pictures and a live account of the questions posed to Dr Vivian during the forum.

An account of how YCCF and Transport Forum turned out will be available in the NUSPA publication ‘The Diplomat’ to be released in April.

Welcome

Welcome all to the NUSPA Undergraduate Feedback (UGF) blog!

UGF was conceptualised as a platform to gather opinions from NUS undergraduates about pressing issues that come up during the year. It is conducted in various formats, such as small dialogue groups and forums, but they have a common purpose of giving everyone an opportunity to share their opinions and ideas on solving those issues. The ideas solicited from the discussions will be consolidated and published in our NUSPA publication – The Diplomat, our NUSPA website and also submitted to relevant organisations for consideration. The press, campus newspapers and socio-political bloggers will also be invited to cover the events. We hope that through our publications and events, more people, especially the youth, will be able to better understand the issues at hand.

In the month of February, there are two events planned.
2nd Feb: Transport Forum: Youths Shaping A World-Class Transport System
16th Feb: Youth Climate Change Forum: Trade-offs for our Changing World

Do click on the respective tabs for more information.

Thank you!
